Are defined as indigestible food sources for the bacteria that build our microbiome. For example, fiber and certain sugars are prebiotics, and the theory behind it is that you give the “good bacteria” the things they need so that they thrive and keep the rest of the population in check.

Postbiotika:

Are the remains of bacteria that have either been fermented or gone through lysation, both methods of destroying the bacterial membrane and collecting the inner parts. These inner parts of the bacteria act as antioxidants and humectants, and as such are beneficial to the skin.

Saccharide Isomerate

This is a Postbiotic complex mixture of 100% natural corn sugars, which has moisturizing and moisture-binding properties. Research has shown that this substance can bind to and in the skin more strongly and longer than other moisture-binding ingredients and it cannot be rinsed off because it is all regulated over the microflora.

Saccharomyces cerevisiae (Yeast)

This postbiotic yeast has many natural benefits for the skin. It is very well tolerated and has a moisturizing and anti-inflammatory effect, it also strengthens the skin’s immune system. This yeast produces amino acids and peptides that aid in skin cell renewal, which also improves collagen synthesis

Cichorium Intybus Root Extract (INULIN)

is a 100% natural prebiotic proven to balance the skin’s microflora. This prebiotic is based on the active ingredient “inulin” which is extracted from the chicory root. Bacillus ferment (Enzymes)

It is an enzymatic exfoliant, based on a protease (Postbiotics) obtained by fermentation, which gently removes the dead cells to reveal younger, healthier looking skin.
